Militer Israel melancarkan serangan terhadap sejumlah target milik Hizbullah di wilayah selatan Lebanon. Serangan dilakukan tak lama setelah adanya perintah untuk menghancurkan jembatan yang digunakan oleh kelompok militan yang didukung Iran tersebut di seberang Sungai Litani.
Serangan berlansung Minggu (22/3) waktu setempat.
“IDF telah memulai gelombang serangan besar-besaran terhadap infrastruktur organisasi teroris Hizbullah di Lebanon selatan,” kata militer Israel dilansir AFP, Senin (23/3/2026).
Sementara, Presiden Lebanon Joseph Aou mengecam serangan Israel terhadap jembatan dan infrastruktur lainnya di selatan negara itu. Dia menyebut serangan tersebut sebagai “pendahuluan invasi darat”.
“Aoun mengutuk penargetan dan penghancuran infrastruktur dan fasilitas vital oleh Israel di Lebanon selatan, khususnya jembatan Qasmiyeh di atas Sungai Litani dan jembatan lainnya,” kata pernyataan kepresidenan.
Dia menilai serangan itu sebagai pelanggaran terhadap kedaulatan Lebanon. Menurutnya serangan yang dilakukan militer Israel berbahaya.
“Serangan-serangan ini merupakan eskalasi berbahaya dan pelanggaran terang-terangan terhadap kedaulatan Lebanon, dan dianggap sebagai pendahuluan invasi darat,” kata Aoun, beberapa jam setelah menteri pertahanan Israel mengatakan tentara telah diperintahkan untuk menghancurkan lebih banyak jembatan yang diduga digunakan oleh Hizbullah.
